Background

Guo Lin (1909-1985), born in Guandong Province is the founder of the Guolin Qigong, Guo Lin Qigong or sometimes also called New Qigong Therapy.

During decades she invented the form after doing long research in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine since she had cancer herself. She recovered from cancer successfully through the practice of her own system.

Due to the effectiveness among her students, in curing diseases by her system, it became wide known all over China and abroad.

Guo Lin was among the first to arrange big practice groups in which she taught both training and theory.

Later, she had educated coaches which held the practices openly in different parks and public places in China.

A main part of the system is the breathing techniques, the Wind breath, and different forms of walking styles.

The Traditional Chinese Medicine is also part of the system.
